Wesley Centre: Geelong
We are a Counselling and Support service located at 218 Ryrie Street, Geelong. You can contact us on 03 5222 4101, Monday to Thursday.
Often people find that they need to talk to someone to help them make sense of their feelings, what is happening now, things that have a happened in their past and the changes that are taking place. We understand that there are pressures in life that at times are overwhelming and difficult to make sense of. These are the times when seeing a counselling may be helpful.
Our team of professionally qualified male and female counsellors have qualifications in Psychology, Social Work and Counselling offering:
- Care and support
- Education programs
Counselling is confidential, we provide support and assistance to couples, families, individuals, children and adolescents, in the areas of:
- Relationship and family issues
- Grief, loss and bereavement
- Anxiety and stress management
- Life changes
We are happy for you to make a self-referral.
The Wesley Centre is also a Medicare funded Mental Health Plan service.
Our counselling fees are based on a sliding scale according to income. Concessions apply.
The Wesley Centre is a not for profit organisation fully funded by the generosity of the donations and grants received from Give Where You Live, the Geelong Community Foundation, UnitingCare SHARE and the Wesley Parish of Geelong.

The Wesley Centre relies entirely upon support from the Wesley Church Parish, community groups, the generosity of private and client donors to provide counselling and support services.

The Wesley Centre is governed by the Uniting (VicTas) Board.
We are joining with 21 other Uniting Church community service agencies to form a new single organisation. Uniting (Victoria and Tasmania) Limited was established and governance for all founding agencies was unified under the single Board on 3 October 2016.
The Uniting Board is an experienced, skills based team that will lead the design and build of the emerging organisation.
